Say Their Names
Because they lived. And love deserves to be spoken.
Grief can feel like homesickness. Not for a place on a map, but for a life that no longer exists.
This space is for those who are grieving the unreturnable. For those who feel homesick for before. Let’s say their names. Write it. Speak it. Share it with the world. Let the world remember that they lived.

Cora, 18
Cora, I miss you so much. I spoke at your school last week about the importance of not taking anything or anyone in your life for granted, I think you really would’ve liked my speech. I think about you in everything that I do and I still try to live my life in honor of you every day. Thank you for all of the laughter you gave me during the toughest times, I could really use one of your jokes right now. I love you, I wish you were here with me physically ![]()
